Access to programs is arranged through the Comox Valley Home & Community Care office of Island Health. Their general phone number is (250) 331-8522. Once you are working with one of the Case Managers, they may ask you to make a decision about your preferred facility or Adult Day Program. OUR PROGRAMS
Long Term Care
GVL provides a caring home for residents who have complex health needs. Recognized for excellence in dementia care, GVL offers professional nursing service, activation programming, nutritional services, spiritual care, housekeeping and laundry services. Resident and Family Council.
Adult Day Program
The Adult Day Program offers a social and stimulating day for seniors living in the Comox Valley who require some support. The program operates from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. seven days a week. One of the goals of the program is to provide a day off for the caregiver.
Respite
Respite is arranged through CV Home & Community Care.  A typical Respite stay is from late Tuesday morning to early the following Tuesday.
Community Bathing
Access to the Community Bathing is either through referral from your CV Home & Community Case Manager or directly through Glacier View Lodge.
